Privacy Policy

Evia (“Evia,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is a personal planning application designed to help you stay ahead of important events, dates, responsibilities, and tasks. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

1. Information We Collect

Account information. When you create an account, we collect information needed to create and manage it, such as your email address and authentication information.

Profile information. You may provide information such as your name, birthday, city, gender, profession, life chapter, priorities, areas of focus, and profile photo. Evia does not currently collect your device’s precise GPS location. Location information used by Evia is information you provide, such as your city.

Life events and important dates. You may add events, dates, people, notes, and other information you want Evia to help you manage. This may include birthdays, anniversaries, travel, weddings, social events, moving, jobs, passport or driver’s license dates, prescription refill dates, annual physicals, dental dates, insurance renewals, and other information you choose to save.

Some information you choose to enter may relate to health or healthcare. Evia uses this information only to provide organizational and planning functionality.

Recommendations and activity. Evia may use information you provide and your interactions with the app to generate planning suggestions, reminders, recommendations, and personalized experiences.

Notifications. If you enable notifications, Evia may schedule local reminders on your device. You can control notification permissions through your device settings.

Subscriptions and purchases. If you purchase Evia+, your purchase is processed through Apple’s App Store. Evia uses RevenueCat to manage subscription status and access to Evia+ features. RevenueCat may process information such as purchase history, subscription status, Apple receipt information, and an app user identifier. Evia does not receive or store your full payment-card information.

3. Health-Related Information

Evia may help you organize health-related dates such as prescription refills, annual physicals, or dental appointments. This information is used for the planning and reminder features you request.

Evia is a life-planning tool, not a healthcare provider. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment and should not be used for medical emergencies.

4. Service Providers

Evia uses third-party providers to operate the service. Supabase provides account authentication and database infrastructure. RevenueCat helps manage in-app subscriptions, purchase validation, and access to Evia+ features. Purchases through the iOS app are processed by Apple.

These providers may process information as necessary to provide their services. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect the security or rights of Evia or others, or in connection with a business transfer, subject to applicable law.

5. Data Storage and Security

Account and application data are stored using Supabase infrastructure. We use technical and organizational measures designed to protect your information, but no electronic storage or transmission method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

6. Retention and Account Deletion

We generally retain your information while your account is active or as necessary to provide Evia.

You may delete your Evia account using the account-deletion option within the app. Account deletion is designed to delete your Evia account and associated Evia data, subject to information that may need to be retained for legal, security, fraud-prevention, transaction, or other legitimate purposes.

Deleting your Evia account does not automatically cancel an active App Store subscription. Evia+ subscriptions must be managed or canceled through Apple. Apple, RevenueCat, or other providers may retain transaction records in accordance with their own obligations and retention practices.

7. Your Choices

You may edit or remove information you have provided, control notification permissions, manage your Evia+ subscription through Apple, restore eligible purchases, delete your Evia account, or contact us regarding your information. Additional privacy rights may apply depending on where you live.

8. Children’s Privacy

Evia is intended for users who are at least 18 years old. Evia is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

9. International Processing

Evia and its service providers may process or store information in the United States or other countries where they operate.

10. Changes and Contact

We may update this Privacy Policy as Evia evolves. When we do, we will update the effective date above and provide additional notice where required.
